Anthony J. D'Angelo Sr., D.D.S.,F.A.G.D Dr. Anthony D'Angelo Sr. was born and raised in a small "patch town" and still maintains the qualities of friendly small town people. In spite of his modest upbringing, his determination and true family values taught by his parents led to his graduating from King's College and then Temple University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. D'Angelo Sr. joined the US Air Force as a Captain and served in the Dental Corp as an Oral Surgeon for two years in Plattsburg, NY. He returned to his hometown and in 1961 and opened his private dental practice. In 1990, his son, Anthony Jr. joined the practice and they both continue to see patients on a daily basis. Dr. D'Angelo Sr. has served professionally in numerous dental organizations both locally and statewide. He actively participates in the American Dental Association, PA Dental Association (past delegate and alternate delegate), Hazleton Dental Society (past president), Third District Dental Society (past president), Academy of General Dentistry (fellowship). Beside these extensive credentials, Dr. D'Angelo attends numerous continuous education seminars to obtain additional credits and keep his dental techniques current. In his spare time, Dr. D'Angelo is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys golf, hunting, trap shooting and fishing. Mostly, at his leisure, he enjoys the company of his 12 grandchildren!
