Dr. Ann Cheri Foxx provides comprehensive care for a wide range of pain conditions combining the latest advancements in medical science along with compassion and her years of experience. As a board-certified interventional pain specialist, Dr. Foxx is dedicated to discovering the key to treating each patient’s pain symptoms and believes true pain management entails a team of caregivers and a variety of treatment options designed for each individual’s case.
Dr. Foxx received her doctorate of medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2004. After working for several years as an anesthesiologist and pain management physician, Dr. Foxx decided to enhance her education and skills by completing a fellowship in pain management at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in 2011. Shortly after, she moved to Arizona and later joined Center for Pain and Supportive Care (CPSC).
Seeing her grandmother suffer for 13 years with chronic pain as the result of a stroke served as Dr. Foxx’s driving force behind her career and passion for pain management. She is dedicated to improving patient treatment, eliminating chronic pain and providing comprehensive care in order to improve and restore a patient’s life.
Dr. Foxx serves as a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiologists and has three years of experience caring for palliative care patients in the Valley. She also participates in training pain management residents, fellows and medical students at CPSC, as well as conducts research for Valley Cancer Pain Foundation, founded by Dr. Lisa Stearns.
