She completed her Medical Doctorate at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has been practicing Anterior Segment Ophthalmology specializing in cataract surgery since 1992. She is most recognized for her accomplished skills in no-stitch micro-incision cataract surgery and the management and care of patients with glaucoma , including SLT laser therapy. Dr. Crisp is also known for her ozil phaco technique used during the cataract procedure, with excellent visual outcomes. She utilizes state-of-the-art premium lens upgrades, like the AcrySof Toric and the ReSTOR Multifocal Intraocular Lenses, which provide quality vision correction for cataract surgery patients interested in reducing the need for glasses after surgery.
