Meet Dr. Rutman In 1982, Dr. Andrew Rutman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry in Rockville Centre since 1984. Dr. Rutman is committed to giving his patients quality dentistry by learning the latest techniques. He has completed over 1,200 hours of continuing education and is trained to perform implant restorations, porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges, tooth colored restorations including inlays and onlays, and many other state-of-the-art dental procedures. Dr. Rutman has been a guest lecturer on the topic of cosmetic restorations at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the second largest dental meeting in the country, and various dental study clubs. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Society of the State of New York, and the Nassau County Dental Society, he has volunteered as a dentist for over 10 years at United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County. Dr. Rutman enjoys being an active member in his community and has been a Little League baseball coach and Boy Scout leader. He lives locally, with his wife Susan and his sons Benjamin and Ethan. Dr. Rutman enjoys bicycle riding, playing tennis, attending sporting events, reading and travelling.
