Graduated with honors from Yale College and from Brown University Medical School. Dr Kim completed internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, also teaching on the faculty there. He took his cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, and his nuclear medicine fellowship at the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences, Los Angeles. Dr. Kim served as assistant professor of cardiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio, in charge of nuclear cardiology fellowship training, and is a published author in that field. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Nuclear Cardiology, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine as well as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Kim joined the Yakima Heart Center in 2002.
