Ana Tanase, M.D., is a pediatrician who takes a holistic approach to the patient and provider relationship.
“Through my integrative medicine training, I have learned to hold space, give options and freedom of choice to my patients, and to look for solutions outside the box,” she said.
Dr. Tanase does not shy away from patients facing complex health issues. Rather, she dives deep to find the root causes and works together with families to get the patient on the path to optimal health.
Having children has given Dr. Tanase a sense of empathy toward parents and caretakers.
“Having my own kids makes me see parenting through different eyes,” she said. “They have taught me many valuable lessons and continue to guide my journey through medicine, personal life and purpose.”
Dr. Tanase was born and raised in Romania. She attended medical school at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed pediatric residency training at The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. After practicing medicine for 10 years, she completed a fellowship with Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and is now board-certified in integrative medicine.
