Dr. Clark joined Dr. Osmundsen in 2007 after a long academic career at Oregon Health and Science University. At OHSU, she founded the division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and its first fellowship. Currently, she continues to participate actively in research and fellowship training at OSHU. Her personal research focus is studying the causes of pelvic floor disorders, in order to be able to provide better treatment options for women. She serves as peer reviewer for several scientific journals, including The International Journal of Urogynecology, The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also reviews grants for the National Institutes of Health, Center for Scientific Review.
Dr. Clark grew up in a small town in Kentucky. She moved to Portland to complete her medical training and fell in love with the city. After living here for more than 25 years, she believes that she has achieved "semi-native" status. She and her family enjoy Portland's vibrant city life and our beautiful outdoors. Her outside interests include jazz piano, gardening, hiking and biking.
