Dr. Downs earned her medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency at The Medical College of Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of Georgia and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Downs has been practicing medicine for 24 years. Prior to joining PPG Hawthorne Medical, Dr. Downs was a practicing partner of Hawthorne Medical Associates. In her spare time, Dr. Downs enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys playing tennis.
