Allison Ward, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Ward is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has experience in high risk obstetrics, gynecology surgery and laser surgery. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Ward was in private practice. She has a special interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, urogynecology, high risk obstetrics, and the gynecologic care of adolescents. Dr. Ward is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
