Dr. Allan Klass is a Board Certified Internist and Fellow of the American College of Physician. He received his MD dgree from the University of Miami Medical School. He completed his internship at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and then spent 32 months in the US Air Force where he served as a flight surgeon with the Strategic Aircommand at Eilson Airforce Base, Alaska. He returned to California and completed his internal medicine residency at Los Angles County USC Medical Center. He spent one year as an internist at Kaiser Permanente Hospital and entered private practice of medicine initially in Sherman Oaks, California and then to Encino. He has served as Chief of Staff at Sherman Oaks Hospital and Director of Continuing Medical Education at that institution for over 30 years. Other credits in the past include President of the Los Angeles Society of Internal Medicine, advanced cardiac life support instructor, and expert witness for the Department of Social Security. He was named one of the outstanding internists in Los Angeles Magazine in 2008. His hobbies include magic, trumpet playing, poker, stair climbing and bowling.
