Allan C. Sundin, DDS, MS Dr. Sundin (Dr. Al) completed his professional education at Hampden-Sydney College, the Medical College of Virginia, and received a MS degree in pediatric dentistry from Boston University. He served a preceptorship in general anesthesia at Kennedy Children’s Hospital. Dr. Sundin also has advanced training in orthodontics, which enables him to diagnose early orthodontic problems. He offers conscious oral sedation as a treatment option for apprehensive children and teenagers.  Dr. Sundin and his wife Betty reside in Virginia Beach. His two sons are partners in plastic surgery in Richmond. In his free time, he plays golf, fishes, and goes on medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic.
