Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:Medicine fascinates me because it is multi-dimensional and requires a life-long learning as new research is coming out every day. But most importantly, medicine allows me to interact with real people, to listen to their stories, and to make a real difference in their lives. The ability to help people is what I find the most fulfilling and rewarding about practicing medicine. What I want my patients to know about me:As I grew up in this area, it is truly an honor to be back to serve this community. I always have my patient's best interest in mind, as pain can be an impediment to living a good life. Pain is a complex field as it has multi-factorial reasons. I will strive to work with my patients to find the best approach for each individual case, and to build their trust so that they can always rely on me to provide them with honest and quality care. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love to spend time with my wife exploring new places, learning about different cultures and new food. I am very interested in gardening and particularly in bonsais. I have a few tropical plants and I enjoy learning more about gardening and taking care of them. I find a lot of joy in seeing plants to develop throughout the seasons and different stages, as it helps me to feel connected to nature and grateful for our planet.
