Dr. Ajai Malhotra is an acute care surgeon and the division chief of acute care surgery at The University of Vermont Medical Center. He also serves as a professor of surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. His research interests include trauma systems and risk-adjusted outcomes. Dr. Malhotra specializes in multi-system trauma and multi-system organ failure. He believes that working with a team to provide complete care for the critically ill or injured is imperative for positive patient outcomes.
