Board-certified in both Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Trevino joined Oncology San Antonio in July 2010. He specializes in the treatment of all types of cancer & hematologic disorders. Dr. Trevino completed his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he collaborated on research for the treatment of glioblastoma.
Dr. Trevino graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA and his residency in Internal Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX. Dr. Trevino was a hospitalist at Hilo Medical Center for Bay Clinic and Team Health West in Hilo, HI for one year before his Fellowship in Heme/Onc in 2007.
