Dr. VanDerWege was inspired to pursue a career in psychology by her dedicated instructors, who showed her how she could positively impact those in need. Her experience as a parent has also profoundly influenced her, giving her insight into what children require to thrive. She has a particular interest in psychological testing for children and adolescents.Dr. VanDerWege looks forward to work each day, as it allows her to provide answers, hope and a path forward for children. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in her children's activities, spending time with her family, walking her dogs, reading, crocheting and practicing yoga.I love engaging with children and their families, providing avenues for growth and improved wellbeing. Each day is a new opportunity to identify strengths and sources of resilience for the children who will be our future.
