He continued his education at the University of Maryland’s School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.During his time at dental school, Dr. Gates volunteered at the Stanton Center Dental Clinic and with the Mission of Mercy in Maryland, earning a Dean’s Award for community service. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.When he is not creating smiles, Dr. Gates enjoys photography, fitness, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
