Colette's passion for continuous learning was something she developed early on from her parents who were both college professors and is one of the many reasons she loves her job as a physician assistant. Not only does this career path allow her the opportunity to grow as a life-long learner of medicine, but it also provides her with the ability to build meaningful relationships with patients on a daily basis. She makes every effort to help create the best possible experience for patients by spending adequate time to explain and answer questions surrounding their diagnosis, the recommended surgical procedure and their projected course of recovery. Colette is passionate about practicing in general surgery, a unique specialty that allows her and the surgical team a chance to surgically correct problems and significantly improve a patient's quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys downhill skiing, water-skiing, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. My goal is to help create the best possible experience for patients by providing individualized, compassionate, quality surgical care to patients and their families. From the first introduction to the last follow-up visit, I truly enjoy building personal relationships with patients and celebrating their successful recoveries.
