Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I enjoy continuing to learn, and medicine is always changing. I enjoy helping people understand their bodies, medical diagnoses and management. As a physician assistant, I can care for patients medically and teach at the same time.What I want my patients to know about me:Patients can expect honesty, education, and my expectation that they participate in their care as a team approach. I am direct yet compassionate and love to educate and make sure all your questions are answered. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I am busy with my family that includes my husband of 22 years, 3 children ages 18, 15, 11 and two great danes, Captian and Coach. I enjoy decorating and entertaining.
