Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I choose a career in medicine after being exposed to it as a patient myself, orthopedics and sports medicine in particular. I played sports all through high school and college and sustained a number of injuries. I was cared for by athletic trainers, PA's and physicians along the way. I knew from my experiences I wanted to be able to provide similar care for others - whether it is a chronic issue or an acute sport injury, I want to help patients live a pain free life and get back to doing the things they love! What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When not seeing patients I am spending most of my time with my husband and my family. We love to travel and see new places as often as we can! I love to be outside as much as possible especially when playing field hockey, hiking or going for runs. When not outside you can probably find me with a good book!
